Manufacturing Technician Coordinator | Test & Repair- Career

Volt is hiring for a Manufacturing Technician.
This person will be a member of the Bio-reagent manufacturing team.

This company is headquarted in California, but this large, beautiful facility in the South Austin area plays a vital role in dealing with cancer research and other diseases - making this an exciting opportunity for people who have a strong work ethic, integrity, and a passion for modern science.

What you will do in this role:

  • Maintain lab-ware and instruments used in the lab
  • Assist in inventory control and management
  • Manufacture stock reagents used in production
  • Maintain lab stocks of QC assay reagents
  • Complete preventive maintenance and calibrations of lab instruments
  • Order lab consumables required for production
  • Assist in the completion of quality control testing of manufactured reagents
  • Maintaining a work environment based on 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements

What will make you successful in this role/ how you will get considered:

You must have a High School Diploma or GED (required). Up to two (2) years of previous experience in bio-reagent manufacturing or relevant Associate Degree preferred but not required. Strong oral and written communication, organization, team building, and computer skills are a must to be considered for this opportunity.
