Manufacturing Technician - Assembly

Located in Bend OR

Pay Rate: $17-$19/hr DOE

Temp to Hire

Swing Shift

Shift Differential of 10%

Volt in partnership with Qorvo would like to talk to you about a manufacturing opportunity located in Bend, OR. Our client manufactures and tests semiconductor devices in a semi clean room environment. Qualified candidates will be detail oriented, able to follow precise procedures, and able to adapt to a dynamic production environment. Once hired on, Qorvo offers great benefits, PTO and 401K. 

Key Job Responsibilities:

  1. Adhere to company policies such as those relating to safety and quality
  2. Perform manual and semi-automated test and assembly processes in the manufacturing of semiconductor devices (such as but not limited to microscopic inspection, pick and place, oven reflow, substrate dicing, laser scribe, tape and reel, data entry)
  3. Follow system procedures and build instructions including processing documents, process flows, and assembly drawings
  4. Monitor processes to ensure product fabrication is within control limits
  5. Document tool, process, and product performance with escalation when appropriate
  6. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  7. Willingness to take on miscellaneous tasks as needed
  8. Drive implementation of Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) ideas

Job Qualifications:

  1. High School diploma minimum required
  2. Experience with test and/or assembly of microelectronic devices, minimum 2 years’ experience preferred
  3. Computer skills for Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) are helpful
  4. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic with the ability to stay focused on simple tasks
  5. Excellent communication skills and acute attention to detail
  6. Must be a team player who works well within a small team environment
  7. US person required
  8. Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings
