Job Description

Manufacturing RF Test Technician - Contract-to-Hire!

Will support operations for electrical test and assembly of semiconductor devices with a reputable DFW area company. This position works under the direction of the fab manager, but also collaboratively with engineering, planning and logistics departments. Individual must exhibit exceptional multi-tasking skills, be able to work with microscopes and semi-automated tooling, have excellent hand-eye coordination in the manipulation of small semiconductor devices, strong statistical, data analysis skills and work well in a small group atmosphere.

Requires personal protective equipment, including ESD protection, working in areas with constant background noise, and may require at times: working with chemicals, lifting 50+ lbs. and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and semi-automated test and assembly processes in the manufacturing of semiconductor devices (such as but not limited to microscopic inspection, pick and place, oven reflow, electrical probing, laser scribe, tape and reel, data analysis)
  • Good hand/eye coordination using tweezers/vacuum wands, must be able to work under low power stereo microscope for extended periods of time
  • Follow system procedures and build instructions including processing documents, router flows, and assembly drawings
  • Collect accurate data and record work completed using logs and databases
  • Perform PM and calibration tasks for tools and equipment
  • Work with engineering team to assist with engineering builds and experiment

Requirements:

  • AA degree or equivalent required
  • High frequency RF test experience required
  • Experience with test and/or assembly of microelectronic devices; minimum 2 years’ experience recommended
  • Experience working in fast paced manufacturing and R&D environments with repetitive processing
  • Computer skills for Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • The ideal candidate will have strong sense of leadership, integrity and work ethic
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills and attention to detail is required
  • Must be a team player who works best within a small team environment and works to positively resolve conflicts
  • US citizenship or Permanent Residency required
