Manufacturing Technician

No experience required

M- F, 4X10 hour days

Wages are $14 up due, DOE

If so Then Volt would like to talk to you about a Manufacturing Technician opportunity located in Bend OR. Our client manufactures semiconductors in a full and semi clean room environment. Qualified candidates will be detail oriented, able to follow precise procedures, and able to adapt to an ever-changing production environment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to company policies such as those relating to safety and quality
  • Perform manual and semi-automated processes on wafers or singulated die, which could include thin film deposition, photolithography, electrical test, inspections, and assembly operations
  • Good hand/eye coordination for handling product using hand tools such as tweezers, must be able to work under low power stereo microscope
  • Follow written procedures and build instructions
  • Collect accurate data and record work completed using logs and databases
  • Perform routine PM and calibration tasks for equipment
  • Monitor processes to ensure product fabrication is within control limits
  • Document tool, process, and product performance with escalation when appropriate
  • Occasionally work with engineering team to support running experiments
  • Drive implementation of Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) ideas
  • Ability to learn new processes quickly and willingness to cross-train in additional areas
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

Job Qualifications:

  • High School diploma minimum required.
  • Experience in a production environment, minimum 1-year experience recommended but NOT required
  • Computer skills for Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • The ideal candidate will have strong sense of leadership and integrity
  • Excellent communication skills and acute attention to detail
  • Must be a team player who works well within a small team environment
  • Ability to pass pre employment screenings.
