Day and Swing shifts available

Wages are $17-$19 DOE

Volt in partnership with Qorvo is seeking a Manufacturing Technician who will be an exceptional addition to Qorvo’s growing team. Our client manufactures and tests semiconductor devices in a semi clean room environment. Qualified candidates will be detail oriented, able to follow precise procedures, and able to adapt to a dynamic production environment. Qorvo offers hands on training in an exciting, hi-tech industry. This is a temp to hire position, once hired on our client offers great medical benefits, PTO and 401K.

What You’ll Do:

  • Adhere to company policies such as those relating to safety and quality.
  • Support engineering in the design and conducting of controlled experiments to improve yields.
  • Perform data analysis using various analysis tools to determine root cause, correlations and inter-dependencies of factors affecting yields on production and experimental material.
  • Interface with other engineering groups in a team-oriented work environment.
  • Provide small team project leadership to reduce costs, reduce cycle time and improve yield.
  • Must be willing to work a four by ten-hour shift.
  • Be responsible for driving continuous improvement through cross functional teamwork.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and a passion for team success.

What to Bring:

  • AA/AS degree preferred (but not required)
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years’ experience working with front end wafer fabrication processes including Assembly, PECVD, PVD, Dry Etching, CMP, Thin film Deposition Processes, and Reactive Sputtering preferred.
  • Demonstrated application of structured problem-solving methods. 
  • Must be flexible and able to adjust to changing goals, objectives, and policies of the company.
  • Versatility and ability to work on multiple tasks.
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows-based software.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
