VOLT Workforce Solutions is NOW HIRING Production Workers for ALL SHIFTS for our partner company on the west side of Indianapolis.

Shifts options: 

• Mon- Fri; 7am-3:30pm
• Mon- Fri; 3pm-11:30pm
• Mon- Fri; 11pm-7:30am
• Fri & Mon; 6a-2:30p + Sat & Sun 6a-6:30p

You will be working in a Production Environment, filling 25kg and 100kg sacks of finished material exiting the production line.

Duties include:

• Operate bagging machine and related production equipment including silo rotary air lock, stretch wrap machine and nuisance & dust collector fines bag houses.
• Operate a forklift with attachments.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures & ability to load trailers per DOT requirements.
• Perform basic spill cleanup and housekeeping duties on the Production floor as directed.
• Responsible for implementation of all health, safety, environmental & quality related procedures in the Warehouse and Production areas.
• Manually verify bag weight and place 25 Kg bags in pre-determined layout on pallets.
• Repetitively lift up to 60 lbs. over an extended period of time.

Education Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience Requirement: 1 year of related experience preferred.

Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirator. May be asked to participate in a confined space entry (wear harness, climb through manway, etc.)
