Job Description

VOLT Workforce Solutions is currently looking for qualified candidates for one of our successful clients in Bethlehem PA.  We are looking for candidates that are dependable, hard-working, quick learners, good customer service skills, able to follow specific instructions and utilize customer specific computer systems.

The Material Handler role will report to the Parts and Service Warehouse Supervisor and will be primarily responsible for processing inventory in an effective manner through the Parts and Service Warehouse. This is a startup company mentality, will be working long shifts in the beginning Mon-Sat. 8 to 12 hours shifts, needs to have sit down forklift experience, a valid driver license and steel toe boots are required for this job.

Schedule:

Mon – Fri

8 am – 7 pm or later & hours on Saturday as needed due to work load.

45 minutes’ lunch and 2 – 15 minutes’ breaks.

Pay rate:

$ 14.50 hr

Responsibilities:

  • Process, schedule and coordinate inbound material from suppliers and outbound material shipments
  • Inventory control, cycle counts and bin movements 
  • Maintain sufficient packaging inventory for repack and shipping operations
  • Identify PO issues, and report discrepant shipments
  • Operate conveyance equipment safely
  • Document usage of serialized parts
  • Crate, repack and kit automotive parts

Requirements:

  • Must have Valid Driver’s License
  • Knowledge of and skills in using Microsoft Excel as well as computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to utilize warehouse management and carrier software
  • Ability to troubleshoot daily operational challenges
