VOLT is looking for an Material View Extender & Service Administrator work onsite with our customer John Deere in Waterloo, IA in a contingent position forecasted for 10+ months.
- Sets up material masters for both manufactured and purchased materials using the business software.
- Creates schedule agreements (blanket purchase orders) centrally and documents standards allowing better control of parameters.
- Establishes the relationship between vendor and material by maintaining the source list.
- Provides training and expertise regarding complex problem solving within business software workflow (e.g. blocked invoice resolution).
- Provides higher level Supply Management Planner support in the interpretation of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) advice to provide centralized planning support and/or to special projects.
- Identifies process gaps and improvements to current procedures and documentation.
- Performs system audits to ensure compliance with the standards allowing for optimization, improvements and correction of errors.
- Performs various administrative support tasks, including parameter studies, enhancements to documentation, and on-the-job training to co- workers and sister facilities.
Requirements.:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field
- Candidate needs to have attention to detail and be proficient in the Microsoft Suite products, especially Excel.
- Candidate should have excellent communication skills.
- SAP experience preferred but no required.
- Open to seeing new graduates.
