Material View Extender & Services Administrator in Waterloo, IA at Volt

Job Description

VOLT is looking for an Material View Extender & Service Administrator work onsite with our customer John Deere in Waterloo, IA in a contingent position forecasted for 10+ months.   

• Sets up material masters for both manufactured and purchased materials using the business software.
• Creates schedule agreements (blanket purchase orders) centrally and documents standards allowing better control of parameters.
• Establishes the relationship between vendor and material by maintaining the source list.
• Provides training and expertise regarding complex problem solving within business software workflow (e.g. blocked invoice resolution).
• Provides higher level Supply Management Planner support in the interpretation of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) advice to provide centralized planning support and/or to special projects.
• Identifies process gaps and improvements to current procedures and documentation.
• Performs system audits to ensure compliance with the standards allowing for optimization, improvements and correction of errors.
•  Performs various administrative support tasks, including parameter studies, enhancements to documentation, and on-the-job training to co- workers and sister facilities.

Requirements.:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field
• Candidate needs to have attention to detail and be proficient in the Microsoft Suite products, especially Excel.
• Candidate should have excellent communication skills.
• SAP experience preferred but no required.
• Open to seeing new graduates.
