***Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Assemblers Wanted***
Monday - Friday / Day shift hours
Moderate to advanced experienced positions available
$18- $25per hour, DOE

Do you have at least two years of experience working as an assembler?

Do have previous experience with various hand/pneumatic tools, and following build schematics?

Willing to drive to Wilsonville to work with one of Oregon's most desirable companies to work with, and was just named Manufacturing Company of the Year!!!

If so, then Volt has the opportunity for you! Our client is currently looking for multiple electro-mechanical assemblers for their facility in the Wilsonville Oregon area. Individuals that have at least 2 years of experience assembling electrical devices, wiring, and building from prints are strongly encourage to apply.

Responsibilities for the Mechanical Assemblers

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and written instructions
  • Perform various mechanical assembly functions using hand and pneumatic tools.
  • Perform various measurements using calipers, measuring tapes, and other tools.
  • Install and align mechanical parts on to larger assemblies
  • Assembly of pneumatic parts using diagrams
  • Perform multiple quality checks and procedures
  • Assist with crating of equipment
  • Inspect incoming parts for compliance
  • Assist technicians with the installation of electrical components


Responsibilities for the Electro-Mechanical Assemblers

  • Build and wire electrical assemblies per provided documents
  • Build and assemble cable harnesses using crimping, soldering, and various small hand tools.
  • Perform simple PCB assemblies per drawings
  • Perform basic electrical troubleshooting
  • Inspect incoming parts for conformance
  • Provide assistance to technicians as required


Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for the Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Assemblers :

  • 1-2 years of relatable work experience or education
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics/drawings.
  • Ability to operate hand tools
  • Able to provide accurate and detailed records of builds
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work in a team environment


Preferred Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Able to pass pre employment screenings
