Job Description

The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing dynamic environments including random vibration, shock, and acoustics that simulate launch vehicle operations.


  • Dynamic testing (vibration and/or shock)
  • Simulate launch vehicle operations
  • Solve high frequency dynamic problems
  • Prepare results for oral presentations and written reports


  • Proficiency with MatLab
  • Experienced with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and/or Statistical energy analysis (SEA) for use in dynamic simulations
  • Experience with post-processing high frequency accelerometer and or acoustic data
  • Prior experience with pyro-shock and/or vibroacoustics
  • At least 8 to ten years of experience in the field of high frequency dynamics
  • Applicants selected must have ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • Experience with liquid rocket motor dynamic and/or rotor dynamic analysis

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required, MSME, MSAE preferred.
