Volt Workforce Solutions is hiring Medical Assemblers to work onsite with our client, a world leader in Healthcare, in Menlo Park. This is for a temp to hire opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career. This site specializes in life saving medical devices. Working in production, you will be required to use small hand tools and assemble small parts as well as label and package products. This is a true Entry Level position for candidates with stable work histories, a High School or GED diploma, and a strong work ethic. Our client provides all the training necessary to be successful. You provide the talent!

Pay: $16+/hour (Based on experience and shift worked)

Duration: 12 Months

Hours:  5am – 1:40pm or 2pm – 10:30pm

Responsibilities for this Medical Device Assembler job include:

  • Basic to complex assembly, soldering using keen eye sight
  • Use of a microscope and very fine hand dexterity skills
  • May require cleaning and inspecting parts and disassembly of returned units
  • Report defective material or questionable condition to production department supervisor
  • Maintain the manufacturing work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

All candidates must be able to:

  • Work Monday through Friday
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Pass skills-based assessments prior to interviewing
  • Have a High School diploma or GED
  • Have a resume including clear job descriptions and education history listed including month/year dates
