We are looking to hire a Medium Voltage Commercial Engineering Specialist for our client in Cambridge, ON for approximately a 12 months’ assignment through our Company Volt Workforce Solutions Canada.

**This role is a 12-month temporary assignment that is intended to support the North America Sales Organization and Medium Voltage Customers, while providing Commercial exposure for those who have an interest in career development and/or expanding the Client's experience. This role exists within an Engineered-To-Order (ETO) environment, where there are variations to solutions to meet customer-specific requirements.

Position Summary:

  • The MV (Medium Voltage) Commercial Engineering Specialist is responsible for supporting North American sales for our Medium Voltage suite of products which includes both Motor Control Centers and Variable Frequency Drives.
  • Regional responsibility to deliver quotation and orders target to meet Annual Operation Plans
  • Collaboration with sales team to develop WIN strategies, focus accounts, qualify and close opportunities
  • Review specification documents for a variety of industrial applications to ensure customer technical requirements are achieved
  • Support customer visits, training schools, and conference calls to aid in pre-sales and post sales activities
  • Understands and supports business processes and serves as a liaison between sales organization and the medium voltage business unit
  • Communicates with the commercial portfolio team to analyze competition, recommend new offerings, or suggest refinements for success
  • Must be willing and able to travel to customer sites, and special events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial applications
  • Demonstrates experience planning, executing, and controlling project deliverables to ensure that customer needs are met
  • Effectively communicates and gives presentations (internal and external)
  • Promote good relationships with internal and external customers
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership skills
  • Medium Voltage Power Systems Domain Knowledge
  • Industrial applications related to Power and Motor Control
  • University or College Degree in Electrical Technology or Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial applications
  • Demonstrated experience providing solutions in an ETO environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Client's MV Products and Applications
