Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is looking for a Microsoft Systems Enterprise Imaging Administrator  for our client, a leading tech support company. 

Job Description:

The Microsoft Systems Administrator, Enterprise Imaging is responsible for the ongoing operations of enterprise Windows-Intel systems, database and imaging applications. The Microsoft Systems Administrator position includes hardware / server installations, production system support, application integration, vendor interaction and incident response / service request management. System performance analysis and Disaster Recovery planning is a crucial component of the job function as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design and testing of a new enterprise imaging and user provisioning process to support a Windows 7 to 10 migration
  • Leverage USMT with customized xml configuration to design an efficient and highly automated user state migration process for systems.
  • Leverage MDT to assist with the development of an updated base image and imaging process
  • Leverage other inhouse imaging tools to round out the deployment process
  • Assist and provide guidance on improvements to the Windows 7 to 10 Migration solution

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience with the design and development of zero-tough or lite-touch imaging and provisioning solutions for Windows 10 refreshes.
  • Demonstrated successful implementation / knowledge of the following technologies: MDT/USTM/WDS or other windows imaging solutions.
  • Specific experiencing developing highly customized and complex USMT migration processes.
  • Microsoft Systems Administration training and / or certification.
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • A predisposition to collaborate with others in the attainment of common goals and objectives.
  • Effective human relations and personnel management skills.
  • Capability to work independently, with ability to multi-task.
  • Experience with SCCM and Intune is a plus
  • Experience with Azure Upgrade Readiness is a plus
  • Willingness to travel from entity to entity.
  • Available for on-call or off hour support 24 x 7 x 365.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience.
