MIG Welder For Fuel & Fluid Warming Solutions Company | Delano, MN

A fuel and fluid warming solutions company located in Delano is looking for 1st and 2nd shift MIG Welders. Candidates must complete a successful drug screen and background check.

Job Description:

  • References prints and work instructions to determine the appropriate materials, tools, resources, and procedures for effectively completing processes.
  • Positions component parts together to obtain required configurations and positions for welding. Applies welding wire feed along adjoining edges of work pieces to adhere joints.
  • Examines welded sections for defects and performs necessary rework of bad joints, broken parts, or leaks.
  • Inspects, tests, and adjusts completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements using test equipment, rulers, micrometers, calipers, etc. to ensure accuracy and conformance to Quality standards.
  • May perform minor machine maintenance and preventative checklist.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists in solving work problems
  • Demonstrate consistent commitment to quality and possess exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrates familiarity and consistently complies with ISO 9001 standards and practices.
  • Maintains clean and efficient workspace.

SUMMARY: Reporting to the Production Manager, Production Supervisor or designate; the Welder is responsible for welding together components to assemble fabricated metal parts, using torches, soldering irons, or welding machines. Other duties may be assigned.


1st shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm

2nd shift: 3:30pm – 12:00am

Duration: Temp-to-hire; possible direct hire

Pay: $16.00/hr+; open to discussion based on qualifications

Start Date: ASAP


  • 1-2  year welding certificate from college or technical school


  • 1-2 years prior welding experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills. Able to work collaboratively and/or independently
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to use a variety of torches, hand tools, and power tools safely
  • Must pass welding test
  • Strong math skills, visual inspection and computer abilities necessary
  • Must be able to interpret and work from prints, work orders, specifications and verbal direction
