***Multiple Production Assemblers Wanted***

Day/Swing Shifts available, $17.50 or $19.25 per hour, depending on shift.
7:00am - 3:30pm or 11:00am to 7:30pm, Monday - Friday

Volt Workforce Solutions has multiple Mechanical Assembly positions available in Hillsboro, OR. The Assemblers perform various mechanical assembly procedures in the assembly of large computer servers. Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing facility, on a production line, or in an mechanical/electrical assembly capacity.

Job Duties for the Assembler:

  • Perform the mechanical assembly of computer servers within standard build times.
  • Frequent use of hand tools in the assembly process
  • Perform repetitive bending, kneeling, turning, and lifting to be able to perform daily assembly tasks
  • Preform frequent and repetitive tasks such as labeling and cabling
  • Perform multiple highly detailed quality checks at various intervals in the assembly process.

These positions are located in Hillsboro OR, and offered through Volt Workforce Solutions located in Portland, OR. 

Requirements for the Server Assembler:

  • A minimum of 1 year of production, assembly, or manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to stand for the entirety of your shift, as well as performing repetitive bending, kneeling, turning, lifting, and labeling to perform daily assembly tasks
  • Able to lift and carry items up to 40lbs
  • Able to use multiple hand tools in the assembly process
  • Intermediate level computer skills, including the ability to document and navigate in and out of multiple programs, email, and data entry.
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly with management and other assemblers.
  • Able to actively participate in continuous improvements activities.
  • Must have a High Diploma or GED
