Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions has an immediate opening for a part-time NDT Data Technician to work onsite at Caterpillar in Decatur, IL.  Please apply immediately!

Job Description:

  • This position is responsible for organizing, collecting and entering data to create reports in support of the Ultrasonic NDT team. 
  • In addition, this position will be responsible for creating and maintaining quality report; answering customer requests and general office support i.e. records filing, pickup and delivery of mail, and copying; and assist with communications between CAT leadership and the DTS Team Leads.

Work Requirements:

  • This position is only part-time, working 25 hours/week. Candidate has flexibility to choose work hours Monday - Friday between 6am – 4pm, working 5 hours/day.
  • Individual must possess a high school degree; associates degree is preferred.
  • Candidate must possess strong computer skills, must be proficient in using Microsoft Office products.
  • Candidate must possess good organizational and planning skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, be a team player, have high level of initiative and accountability for actions.
