Volt Workforce Solutions is supporting a client that is the largest and fastest growing provider of reloadable prepaid debit cards and prepaid debit card services in the U.S. The company's debit cards enable virtually anyone to make purchases, pay bills, secure reservations, and shop online without the need for a bank account or credit history.

Description of Position:

The New Accounts Analyst will contribute to the success of the Banking Operations department; the primary function of this role is reviewing new card orders daily and approving them for production while meeting daily operational deadlines.

This position will review all new card orders for address deliverability, loss avoidance, and compliance with both Federal regulations (OFAC, CIP, BSA) and the company's internal policies. 

The New Accounts Analyst mitigates losses by monitoring card order trends, attempting to identify anomalies indicative of fraudulent behavior, and referring accounts as appropriate to investigative departments for further research. In addition to reviewing card orders, the New Account Analyst also reviews and performs CIP verifications account maintenance utilizing reports relating to Compliance and Risk Management.

Responsibilities:

• Review all new debit card orders 
• Review cardholder information for validity 
• Initiate new strategies and make ongoing recommendations for process improvement 
• Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously 
• Support and interact with other internal departments as needed 
• Adhere to a strict attendance and punctuality policy 
• Adhere to strict compliance and regulatory requirements 
• Ensure that regulatory, legal, bank, and audit requirements are met

Job Requirements:

• Professional business acumen, demonstrated through excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong problem solving skills and inherent decision making abilities are required 
• Learn and apply new information or skills 
• Perform detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks 
• Must be able to work under deadlines and high volume pressure with little supervision 
• Excellent organizations skills and capacity for attention to detail
• MS Outlook and Excel skills 
• Some college and/or banking experience preferred
