Job Description

New Business Development Sales Manager

Location     Field Based

VOLT is seeking to hire a dynamic, high energy and accomplished New Business Development Sales Manager for a leading manufacturer of computer peripheral equipment including color & monochrome printers as well as multi-function products. 

A successful candidate possesses 3-7 years of experience in OEM sales experience in the printing, systems or enterprise banking industries.  In addition, the candidate would have formal sales training in the development and delivery of a sales territory with a major U.S. corporation.  They will also Meet & exceed sales quota for NBD business within defined territory or assigned vertical market & establish new business customers & relationships to support short term & long-term NBD objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding overall NBD revenue and unit quotas for Territory and or assigned vertical.
  • Capable of working with NBD’s highest-level executives. Sales management, engineers, purchasing and C level executives.
  • Develops a strategic plan to close required business and/or establish needed relationships to meet both short and long-term NBD territory and/or vertical objectives.  Including, but not limited to revenue, unit and or market share goals.
  • Sales agreements- Sales Manager needs to facilitate the completion of an agreement between the prospect and Oki.
  • Lead time – products are shipped from the “factory”.   Sales manager must make sure that customer places orders with knowledge of product lead time.  This ensures that both customer and Oki business run smoothly.
  • Encourages growth of the entire business base and interacts, as required, with other Oki Sales entities to ensure Oki sales dominance and deliver incremental business.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business or Technical) or equivalent experience

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Formal sales training in the development and delivery of a sales territory with a major U.S. corporation
  • 5+ years’ successful sales territory performance. 
  • 3 -7 years OEM sales experience in the printing, systems or enterprise banking industries
  • Direct sales experience in/with and knowledge of the technology
  • Mastery of presentation skills and tools (room to lecture hall public speaking; PowerPoint)
  • Background in MICR and Financial market
