VOLT has partnered with a well-established client who has a need for MULTIPAL NOC Engineers at various Levels - - Level 1, Level 2 and Level for a 6 to 12-month CONTRACT to start, possible Right to Hire.  This is an on-site OPPORTUNITY in Rockville MD.

Local Client in Rockville MD seeks MULTIPAL LEVEL NOC Engineers Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 to lead, monitor Service platform, and serve as trouble-shooter, customer advocate, trainer, and creative problem solver within the organization.

Multiple 12 and 10 hour shifts available to support 24x7 operation, some weekend and holiday shift work

  • 7 NOC Level 1 Engineers – 5 years minimum experience, Net+, Sec+, CCNA, Ticketing Systems
  • 7 NOC Level 2 Engineers – 7 to 10 years of experience, ITIL, CCNA, Sec+, CCNA Security+, Cloud+ or Server+
  • 2 NOC Level 3 Engineers – 10 plus years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in IT related field. CCNP or CCDP, ITIL or COBIT 5, CySA+ or CASP. – Compliance, Security, Patching, Configuration Security.

Candidates will be required to pass a virtual lab or white board session during the hiring process before selection.

NOC Engineers will support not only the platform (Windows - LINUX, but VOIP, Wireless and SERVERS serving as a point of escalation in the Data Center. 


  • Monitor our production platform and assisting the Application Management team in troubleshooting issues
  • Respond to known issues and preventing/resolving downtime and degradations in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Document customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development
  • Respond to customer issues via telephone, CRM, or email
  • Resolve partner or reseller concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters
  • Display interpersonal skills, technical product knowledge and expertise on our products and services.
  • Troubleshoot problems and recommend corrective action
  • Work with product management, engineering, and development teams to find root causes and resolutions, and to improve our products
  • Administer backups and backup infrastructure and monitor for failures or other issues

Handle O/S and other patching, ITIL, CCNA, Sec+, CCNA Security+, Cloud+ or Server+

Education/Experience Requirements NOC Engineer:

  • Diploma/University: B.S. degree in Computer Science, Electrical or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in supporting multiple platforms NOC
  • Working knowledge of VOIP, SERVERS, Windows, LINUX IIS and Wireless, and functions of DBA
  • Proficient network understanding
  • Background in troubleshooting in a support capacity and ticketing systems
