Volt Consulting Group has an exciting opportunity in New Brighton, MN. The Onboarding Coordinator sets the tone for our newly referred field temporary employees by providing them a superior remote onboarding experience. This includes exceptional candidate follow up from the initial pre-employment screening and through to the end of their assignment. In this role you will be able to interact with candidates across many different states and skill sets (administrative, call center, technical, IT, Engineering, Light Industrial)

  • Remotely onboarding candidates located across the U.S. by swiftly initiating drug and background screening and on-line paperwork
  • Coordinate and monitor the timely completion all items and coordinating Form I-9 completion with sister branches across the country; while keeping all tools up-to-date
  • Review and keep current on customer criteria to ensure all pre-employment screening and forms are completed to customer's requirements
  • Ensure compliance to federal and state regulations on new hire paperwork and timing of completion
  • Actively monitor candidate onboarding status throughout the day and proactively more forward candidate employment and education verifications; contacting candidates as needed to move things forward and clients to provide onboarding status and notify of potential hurdles
  • Provide new starts with procedural information that varies by client
  • Work in multiple timekeeping and Vendor Management Systems (VMS) that vary by client for weekly review of timecards, from submission to approval and invoicing
  • Contact employees with missing time cards via email, text and or phone
  • Handle payroll report review ensuring that all hours were processed, coordinating exception pay forms and adjustments as needed
  • Complete data entry and document uploads into internal systems and VMS as needed, maintain electronic employee files
  • Track new starts and enter billables such as drug and background screen fees and sick pay
  • Provide exceptional employee customer service, building relationships and rapport and quickly de-escalating any issues
  • Assist in creating and sending employee communications
  • Additional employee and client centered administrative duties as assigned
