Job Description

Volt Workforces Solutions is growing in Maryland! We are searching for an Onsite Recruiter/HR Assistant for our client in Laurel, MD. If you enjoy sourcing and recruiting in a fun, but busy, production environment, come speak to us!

Additional job responsibilities include:

  1. Post ads and screen potential candidates
  2. Create and execute detailed Recruiting Plan including grass roots efforts and community involvement
  3. Interviewing and scheduling candidates: Use Behavioral Based Interviewing techniques
  4. Facility Tours 
  5. Onboarding: includes all pre-employment screenings (drug and background) and client specific paperwork, discus optional benefits, locker and Kronos badge assignments, etc.
  6. Enter and Place candidates into our ATS, Bullhorn.
  7. Create, maintain, and edit Employee Manuel as appropriate
  8. Employee Relations would include, and certainly not limited to, handling conflicts between coworker/supervisors, harassment issues, LOA, etc.
  9. Loss Control perspective: handle any Worker’s Comp Claims that may arise and follow up to ensure worker is released back to Full Duty or assign Modified Duty.
  10. Off Boarding – conduct Exit interviews; why are people leaving and track information to report back to client.
