Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is hiring for a highly motivated Recruiter to work onsite at our client location!   


Responsibilities include the following:
•    The Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting; recruit, screen and recommended placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external)
•    Experience recruiting for Customer Services, IT, Global Compliance Excellence, Power Generation
•    Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs
•    Screens resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person), administer appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, make recommendations for hire (or not hire) and deliver employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings within an assigned territory
•    Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned client-base
•    Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as career fairs, on-line job fairs, community network events, etc.
•    Develops advertising programs (internal and external) in order to ensure high visibility with potential candidates
•    Manages internal transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with hiring manager, transfer offer letter, etc
•    Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status
•    Collaborate with HR peers on recruiting related items, when appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS
Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
•    3 - 5 years of high volume recruiting experience in a fast pace environment
•    Bachelor's Degree is required 

Knowledge & Skills:
•    Strong customer service skills; ability to work with various personalities and styles of individuals.
•    Ability to successfully communicate in-person and by telephone with internal staff, external customers and field employees.
•    Ability to develop open and positive customer relations.
•    Demonstrated problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
•    Ability to successfully communicate verbally and in writing.
•    Ability to travel to travel between two customer site locations, providing own method of transportation.
•    Ability to work within a flexible work environment and non-traditional work schedules, as necessary.
•    Excellent organizational skills and detailed oriented.
•    Experience in managing multiple projects/deadlines.
•    Computer and office equipment proficiency.
•    Working knowledge of applicable software’s utilized at the customer location.
