Operations Optimization Engineer

1st Shift

DIRECT HIRE

Salary up to $75K

VOLT is working with our client, a growing pharmaceutical company in West Caldwell, NJ.  If you have experience with Lean/Six Sigma, have a knack for finding ways to improve operations and production methods, and are strong in SAP, then this is the position for you!

This position will support production management activities such as:

• Collect and analyze operations data. 
• Communicate the findings to Production and other departments.

• Determine, define, and improve processes that support implementation of new process data and requirements

• Improve, and train employees on the use of information collection systems.
• Assist or perform production quality investigations and CAPA programs
• Coordinate production documentation - updates relating to batch records, SOPs and artwork changes
• Develop and communicated expertise in serialization and aggregation systems
• Reports to Director of Production

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, or similar analytical background
• 3- 4 years’ professional experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point and SAP / ERP systems
• Strong analytical and communication skills, (written and verbal) Works well in a team environment and independently
• Familiar with Lean/ 6 sigma tools and methodology
