Temp to Hire Opportunity

M—F /1st shift (7am-3:30pm)

Must Haves include:

  • Mechanically/Electronically-inclined
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Able to work in a team environment

The Systems Integration Technician performs all aspects of DeltaV panel construction. Also assists in the receipt and storage of panel materials.  The Systems Integration technician also performs cabinet check-out, and assists in all shipping and receiving. 

Key Job Elements:

Performs Duties and Responsibilities for Electrical Panel Construction

  • Performs all assembly activities of  a low voltage technician
  • Performs all wiring tasks (cutting, stripping, looming, terminating, marking)
  • Uses small hand tools for mechanical assembly of components into cabinets

Testing and Shipping of DeltaV Control Panels

  • Performs all functional testing and QA for completed panels
  • Reviews cabinet construction drawings for final electrical functionality, general design, layout and accuracy, marking up drawings with “redlines” 
  • Gathers and copies all cabinet component documentation for inclusion with shipment
  • Takes pictures of completed cabinets and panels, showing construction details
  • Perform all packaging and shipping activities

Job Requirements

  • A  2-year Electronics Associate degree is preferred and/or equivalent work experience to provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the job 
  • Recent experience with electrical panel construction, wiring of electronic components with multi-conductor and/or single-strand cables
  • Basic understanding of AC/DC electrical circuits and related equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to plan workload and delivery schedules to meet customer schedule
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Team player with ability to interface with internal support groups
  • Knowledge of personal computer (PC) hardware, software and application programs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectively with customers, supervisors and co-workers 
  • Ability to produce prompt and accurate results while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
  • Cognizant of consequences of action and alertness to quality
  • Demonstrate maturity and sound judgment
  • Must be a self-starter, be detail-oriented, and have good organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with general directions
  • Ability to perform considerable physical activity including walking, lifting, reaching, stooping, pulling, grasping, balancing, climbing, kneeling, standing, and crouching
  • Ability to work overtime and/or be on call if needed
