Job Description

Participant Services Rep – Call Center Rep

***Bilingual – Spanish/English and/or FINRA Licensed preferred***

OR English Only is accepted

(Group Annuity Retirement Plan Department)

***Previous Financial /Banking / Call Center Experience, Highly desired***

This is a 6+ month opportunity

Pay rate:  $16 - $19 per hour – full time (Monday – Friday)

Our Client is a $2.8B Insurance company committed to expedite, personal customer support located in Portland, Oregon! 

We are currently filling needs for a Participant Services Representative who is responsible for personalizing and relaying accurate plan specific information to participants.  

  • Deliver personalized service and responding to a variety of plan and policy-related questions which impacts the participant and ultimately, the plan as a whole.
  • Provide clear and concise communication of plan information, policies, and procedures via telephone by using a variety of computer and telecommunications technologies/software/systems. 
  • Problem solve, perform initial research and follow-up with individual participant related issues, as needed.
  • Monitor status of requested work and prepare customized correspondence as necessary and make outbound calls as requested.
  • Facilitate call escalation for participants whose loan or distribution requests are not being met within established service time-frames. 

Requirements:

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) and/or FINRA Licensed is preferred or English only is acceptable.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Quick with learning new software.
  • Collaborative person.
  • Proven outstanding customer service experience and solid work history required.
  • Solid attendance and punctuality.
  • Previous Call Center or work experience with a Bank or financial company, highly desired!

Education:

  • Education & Experience:  Associate’s degree preferred.  Minimum 2 years financial or industry experience, or the equivalent combination of education/experience. Experience in a high volume, direct customer contact service environment preferred.
