Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is hiring a team of Payment Specialists for our client in North Austin, a leader in mobile and desktop computing in North Austin.

This team will contribute to the customer experience by preventing and minimizing customer order payment errors and working to resolve any payment processing issues in a timely manner.

  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Must be able to work a 40-hour schedule from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm within a 7-day work week, including holidays, with additional flexibility during high volume periods
  • Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements


The ideal candidate will have creative thinking, problem solving, and relationship-building skills. Candidate will gain an understanding of key operation processes, including, but not limited to, cash orders, SAP credit card authorizations and billing, and logistic processes. 


  • Reviews, analyzes and resolves simple to complex payment processing issues 
  • Serves as a point of contact between customers, credit card-issuing banks, client finance and customer service, where necessary 
  • Analyzes, identifies, and communicates system issues from exception reporting 
  • Partners with multiple internal departments and external banking institutions to resolve issues 
  • Researches and resolves payment authorization and settlement issues 
  • Represents our tech savvy client with customers and partner organizations 
  • Identifies innovative ideas to improve the customer journey and increase efficiency 
  • Achieves or exceeds performance and productivity goals 


High School graduate/GED required. BA/BS preferred but not required
