VOLT’s client is looking for a PeopleSoft Developer. OPEN TO REMOTE

This is an estimated 12 month temporary/contract position in Tri-Cities, WA (open to remote work). This is offered through Volt Workforce Solutions. Job Description:

Duties:

  • Contribute to functional requirements analysis for enhancements to ELM and custom systems.
  • Be the primary technical development resource for ELM system enhancements.
  • Exhibit leadership amongst team of resident developers on achieving better functionality across the system and modules presently in use.
  • Make recommendations on coding techniques or design improvements across the developer and system administration teams.
  • Create appropriate levels of functional, technical, or test documentation for changes being implemented
  • Adhere to applicable change control processes including code / peer reviews, testing, documentation, customer testing and acceptance, and final customer approval
  • Work independently with minimal guidance from resident staff
  • Understand and validate understanding of business requirements prior to development work
  • Learn to use Stat change control tool
  • Meet all deadlines (as set with reasonable consideration for the unexpected challenges)
  • Provide weekly status report, or at agreed upon interval as more or less critical deadlines are factored 12. Provide Go-Live support

Requirements:

  • Proficient in PeopleSoft ELM, enough to lead fit/gap analysis, produce functional specifications, and train business owner staff on new features through consultation and face-to-face sessions.
  • Experience leading requirements analysis, adapting the system(s) to meet requirements, debug issues, and configure ELM features to produce an easy-to-use, intuitive technical solutions. 
  • Experience leading implementation tasks, including guiding work of internal staff and educating the team on new features.
  • Must have at least 5 years’ experience working with PeopleCode and Fluid interfaces and be able to present Component Interfaces to custom front-end applications.
  • Must have fluency in SQL and be proficient with Oracle RDBMS.
  • Must have a familiarity with REST webservices and SCORM training content.
  • Must have experience working in an environment which follows Agile Methodologies.
