Description
The Operations Supervisor role will supervise all assigned manufacturing work areas and demand field service activities for Measurement & Flow Lifecycle Services. in a manner which will achieve group objectives with regard to safety, quality, continuous improvement, schedule, cost, training and a positive working environment within a regional QSR facility. The individual in this position is responsible for a variety of duties designed to insure the customer’s expectations are met and exceeded with the utmost level of professionalism.

Responsibilities
• Create and maintain a safe work environment. Responsible for maintenance and protection of company property in assigned work area.
• Demonstrates proficient knowledge of Service practices and processes including but not limited to Global Manufacturing System (GMS), manufacturing procedures, Appropriation Requests (A/Rs).
• Plans daily work assignments and periodic rotations for assigned employees to meet objectives. Delegates routine and important tasks. Will work directly with North America Response Center on scheduling demand service customer requests.
• Shares responsibility and accountability for schedule, quality of product and safety with direct reports. Sets clear objectives and measures, monitors progress and results.
• Participates in the hiring and selection process to fill open positions. Interviews and recommends potential candidates.
• Maintains and supports ongoing internal & external training programs. Participates in the development of new or updated training programs as necessary. Provides tasks and assignments that challenge and stretch employees’ abilities. Conducts regular discussions with employees on personal development.
• Conducts timely, effective performance reviews in accordance with company guidelines. Regularly meets one-on-one with assigned employees to verbally review performance. Provides current, direct, complete, and action-able feedback that is both constructive and positive.
• Actively participates in the hiring and selection process to fill open positions. Initiates interviews and selects the best fit candidate.
• Communicates regularly to assigned employees on matters such as business conditions, goals, trends, accomplishments, pay plan updates, and information on benefits and policies. Fosters open dialogue within work unit and across work units.
• Demonstrates knowledge of, and consistently and fairly administers and supports company policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Demonstrates proficient knowledge of manufacturing practices and processes.
• Adherence to all safety, quality, company rules and regulations.
• Responsible for personal safety and those around him/her. Will maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field,
• Minimum of two years of supervisory level work.
• Experience in the instrumentation/ process control industry is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relation skills are required.
• Excellent computer skills to include Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite is required

WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS
Ability to work office and production/ manufacturing environments

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Normal office and shop environments including manual dexterity work, repeated lifting of items up to 25lbs.
