Volt has partnered with leader in the development, manufacturing, and service of industrial tools, air compressors (of which it is the world's leading producer), construction and assembly systems who is now hiring a PLM Administrator!

This is a Direct Hire role with competitive salary, and potential relocation assistance.

Mission:

To provide support ensuring the stable operation of the PLM system by working under the supervision of the Engineering Software Administrator to analyze and resolve user issues.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Assist with administration of PLM system including troubleshooting, managing upgrades, and providing user support.
  • Serve as technical expert for PLM.
  • Assist with maintaining and improving PLM system in accordance with company/divisional group standards.
  • After hours availability required as agreed with the Manager.
  • Assist Engineering and Parts Design/Drafting departments with general needs and technology upgrades.
  • Some International/domestic travel (plenty of notice and 3-4 days max)
  • Other special assignments and projects as assigned by Engineering Manager, DD&D Manager, and Engineering Software Administrator.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering field desired but not required. Completion of relevant certification program and/or work experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of three years' experience working in an engineering environment desired. Competencies including engineering change (ECO, ECR, ECN), part management, BOM management a plus
  • Knowledge of Product Lifecyle Management (PLM) systems, Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE preferred but not required
  • Basic understanding of client-server database administration, user account administration, and data management.
  • Demonstrated competence in interpersonal skills including communication, self starter, positive make happen attitude
  • Able to self-correct and self-improve
  • Willing to take responsibility for assignments and bring them to simple, effective conclusions
