Volt is seeking a Power Module Test Engineer to work onsite at John Deere’s facility in East Moline, IL.  This is a contingent position forecasted for 2 years.  

Within this role, you will:

  • Test engine and aftertreatment systems in a lab environment
  • Test machines and collect/process duty cycle data
  • Develop test plans, write activity procedures, develop and maintain test stands, procure and ship components, document daily/weekly test stand progress, and write reports following completion of test
  • Coordinate with vehicle level test engineers for field testing, on machine testing at both Deere facility and field sites, data collection, analysis, and compilation
  • Cooperate with design engineers and lab technicians and liaison work between those groups

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field
  • Experience working in a test lab environment
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to learn software/data collection tools
  • Metatarsals required (Ear plugs, bump cap, and safety glasses provided)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
