Position Overview: This team is engaged at the platform level in the concept, design, development and production release of track type tractor drivetrain systems including mechanical transmissions, brakes, steering components, and final drives.

Position Responsibilities: Engineers are accountable for delivering the concept, development and design of complex components, subsystems and/or processes. Team members will perform complex analysis work, identify design problems and resolve problems. Responsibilities include working closely with component design engineers and test engineers to determine component and system configuration, design, detailing and problem resolution.  Other responsibilities include working closely with cross function organizations, such as Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Suppliers to develop cost effective designs that can be mass produced with a high degree of quality and reliability.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Fluent with Creo, solid modeling, and drawing tools
  • Experience with mechanical designs
  • Experience with mechanical analysis
  • Experience with validation and testing of mechanical systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

This position is in East Peoria, relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Must be eligible to work on W-2 for VOLT. We are not accepting C2C or third-party vendors.
