Job Description


This is an estimated 3+ month temporary position, in Seattle, WA and is offered through Volt Workforce Solutions. We are among the largest staffing companies in the US for contingent/temporary and direct hire placements, and support many of the top rated Pacific Northwest companies.

The Pricing Analyst contributes by evaluating and supporting business strategies involving base and contract pricing to deliver profitable revenue, volume and share growth for the company. Partnering with Sales, Marketing and Finance teams to make educated pricing decisions and support the growth of the business. The position requires the ability to apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve business problems, and quickly arrive at recommendations that drive strategic priorities. 


  • Manages customer pricing, including discounts, special programs, price changes and direct and indirect pricing models
  • Lead contact for customer account teams for pricing recommendations and actions
  • Performs detailed analyses to support the development of new initiatives, and determine continuous improvement opportunities
  • Participates in and provides support to cross-functional teams; conducting analysis and providing input to support objectives
  • Effectively produces ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business operational, financial and strategic business decisions
  • Provides support for new pricing scenarios, including requirements gathering, testing and implementation
  • Analyzes and interprets large amounts of data, drawing clear, actionable conclusions
  • Deals successfully with ambiguity and managing multiple priorities


  • Progressive experience in pricing, finance or business analysis (3-5 years)
  • Project leadership in a cross-functional environment (3-5 years)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Experience using an ERP system (SAP, Oracle or other)
  • Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
