Job Description

Volt is looking for a Pricing specialist for a leader in the telecom industry. After reviewing the job requirements below, if you feel you are match please apply ! 

Requisition Title:   Pricing Specialist  (temporary)

Description:   Support the Pricing Group and the RF Products Product Line Management Teams with pricing analysis and evaluation of all price requests. Review competitive and strategic information from the Sales Team and Distributor Partners. Analyze gross margins for projects to ensure financial metrics are met. Create and communicates pricing information to Sales Team and Distributor Business Partners. Monitor competitor prices/data and recommend price changes.

Responsibilities:


• Receive, review, and respond to incoming requests from Business Partners and Sales Team for project pricing in a timely manner.


• Coordinate and lead the financial profit and loss analysis of regional price strategies.


• Manage project discounts as necessary to win projects and meet financial targets for gross margin, average sell price, and contribution.


• Verify and report on competitive activity including product offering, pricing, and other pertinent information.


• Responsible for absolute security of all pricing data, records and reports, and for the accuracy of pricing input the computer systems.   


• Supply detailed pricing analyses as requested by Sales and Product Management teams.


• Create and maintain costing and project margin analysis tools.

Requirements:


•   Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Pricing Strategy, Accounting or related curriculum with

    a minimum of 2 years of relevant/related experience required.


•   Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.


•   Previous experience in collecting, analyzing and summarizing statistical data.


•   Intermediate computer skills desired; experience with extensive formulas and pivot tables in Excel

Experience with SAP preferred.
