Principal IS Engineer in Beaverton, OR at Volt

Job Description

VOLT is seeking candidates for "Principal Engineer” in either Greater Seattle, Portland Metro, Anaheim, or Beaverton.   Candidate needs to reside in or be willing to relocate to one of these areas.    Candidate can come from a Solutions Architect or Sr Software Developer background.  This is a contract to hire role.

What You will be Doing:

Extending automation by developing a centralized automation to support server, storage, and DBA teams.  Assisting with the migration from on-prem to Azure.  Overseeing automation tool selection.  Leading, mentoring, inspiring, setting direction.  Gathering requirements, self-identifying work, prioritizing work, defining requirements, demoing products. Implementing CI/CD pipeline

PowerShell (secondarily, Bash/Python)

Ansible (secondarily, Chef or Puppet)
