Volt is seeking a Process Engineer in Orange, CA.

REQUIREMNETS:

• B.S.E.E./M.S.E.E. Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Good skills in analyzing electrical test data using Excel or similar software, planning and executing tests, within teams or independently
• Operational knowledge of electronic test equipment is highly preferred
• Knowledge of quartz crystal technology a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Function effectively as part of a team resolving day-to-day technical and/or manufacturing-related issues
• Work closely with other engineers on development of new quartz crystals and oscillators
• Work closely in a team friendly environment with engineers, technicians, supervisor and operators focused on training, throughput, safety and automation solutions
• Review existing processes and procedures, improve equipment performance, update existing and establish new procedures
• Study, recommend and justify equipment replacements, modifications and upgrades
• Review and monitor product reliability
• Monitor and work toward yield improvement and resolution of issues by analyzing data, using SPC, 8D and other quality and statistical tools
• Conduct root cause analysis, establish corrective action, summarize and present results
• Perform failure analysis as required and submit reports to management
