Volt is searching for a Process Technician to fill a role for our amazing client in Millersburg, PA. In this role you would create, set specifications, develop, implement and monitor this equipment. Your work would be a part of the manufacturing system on site of our client. You would work in the medical device manufacturing, the processes.

The perfect candidate would understand the continuous manufacturing process. Also you would the chance to help design and innovative processes along with equipment. We are looking for someone who will be able to handle modification and optimization of equipment and processes that are already in place.

You would be acted to perform all actions related to the preventive maintenance program of the Company Intervene in production issues related to mechanical and electrical maintenance. You would help to ensure maintenance of equipment and repairs when required.

You would help solve problems related to maintenance Assist with start-up and shutdown of machines. We are looking for someone who can suggest continuous improvement projects.

You would be a perfect fit if you can participate in equipment installation, test equipment in order to assure productivity and performance Maintain, repair and rebuild various production machines and equipment. Respect safety standards of the Company/our client and maintain a clean work environment.

We are hiring for 2nd, 3rd and weekend shift:

Shift Days Hours notes 2nd Monday - Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm   3rd Sunday - Thursday 10:30pm-7:00am   Weekend Saturday - Sunday 9:30am-10:00pm plus - 2 eight hour on 2nd shift (you pick)

  • High School diploma or equivalent minimally required.


  • Preferably 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering in a manufacturing process environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Proficient with Microsoft applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Change control practices/strategies
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, SOPs and quality systems.

Physical and Environmental Requirements: 

  • Ability to work in a fast paced controlled cleanroom environment 8 hours a day with additional overtime as required  for production schedule adherence 
  • The Clean-room is controlled environment for temperature and humidity having low ambient noise. Specific gowning is required including: gloves, hair & beard net and face cover, safety glasses with no makeup / jewelry, and the like. Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene
  • Must have ability to do the following activities 
  • Follow all safety protocols Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted
