Job Description

Job Title: Product Program Manager

Location: Fargo, North Dakota

Our client, a major manufacturer of construction and farm equipment, is looking for a highly motivated program manager to assess, meet, and oversee objectives, including conducting phase reviews and maintaining tracking methods for the programs.  This is an excellent challenge with high reward and impact.  You could reasonable expect to handle one to two programs with $10M to $20M in budget and 20 to 40 resources.  If you are up to this challenge, apply today.

Main Duties:

  • Leads a cross-functional team using the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) to develop and implement major improvements to existing products or new product programs (typically small in size).
  • Provides performance management input for core team members, including possible supervision to engineering support personnel.
  • Manages schedule to ensure that changes are limited and the financial and customer implications are fully understood, as well as communicated to the appropriate level of leadership.
  • Oversees program(s) execution, including providing direction and managing financial targets function as well as performance quality and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and prioritizes risks to schedule and/or budget, and develops mitigation plans.
  • Identifies and manages issues and risks in order to protect the schedule financials and quality goals.
  • Ensures the final product meets defined financial targets e.g. capital expense product cost and profitability.
  • Ensures scaling of EPDP based upon musts and wants.

Requirements:

  • Extensive Program Manager experience required
  • Electronic experience and familiarity in Electronic terminology needed
  • Power Electric Motor background preferred
