Product Support Rep

Technical Support for Gas Detection Products

MUST HAVE GAS DETECTION DEVICE EXPERIENCE

The Job Responsibilities

  • Delivers quality customer satisfaction by providing assistance with and resolution for technical questions and problems related to our Gas Detection product lines.
  • Provide 2nd level support to customers and field representatives to guide them through troubleshooting gas detection equipment and technical issues and questions. Maintain related call records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist customers with parts identification and information regarding machine upgrades.
  • Escalate, co-ordinate and consistently follow up problem resolution including obtaining support from the relevant Technical Product Manager (TPM).
  • Dispatch Technical Service Representatives for emergency service calls in accordance with service escalation procedures.
  • Provide 24 x 7 support to meet business and customer needs.
  • Manage open CRM call tickets and Remo’s log files, make necessary follow-up or return calls to customers and ensure regulatory or complaint calls are document and managed.
  • Performs other duties as needed and assigned. 

Your Qualifications

MUST HAVE GAS DETECTION DEVICE EXPERIENCE

  • Associates Degree or technical certification, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years manufacturing, electrical/electronic testing, and/or troubleshooting experience on gas detection products required
  • One year of previous customer service experience needed.
  • Demonstrates aptitude for learning new technologies.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a call center environment
  • Ability to work remotely is essential for this role
