Production Assembly Worker – Perm Job

6:30pm – 6:30am

N1: Sun, Mon, Tues and every other Saturday

N2: Wed, Thurs, Fri and every other Saturday

*Earn up to $20Hr. including shift differential and daily overtime depending on experience*

Volt in partnership with Qorvo is immediately hiring Production Operators in Hillsboro OR. These are permanent jobs. Qualified candidates will have 3 years of previous clean room, semiconductor manufacturing, or assembly work experience.

Your safety comes first! This is a COVID safe environment, masks must be worn at all times and 6ft social distancing is maintained in the workplace. In the production area, a full clean room suit is required which includes, masks, gloves and safety glasses.

As a Production Assembly Worker, you will:

• Work in a clean room environment
• Perform manufacturing tasks in production space
• Assemble microelectronic parts
• Inspect parts and product during assembly/manufacturing process
• Report any product/parts issues from assembly line
• Perform accurate data entry and document all transactions

Requirements: 

• High School diploma or GED required
• At least 3 years of previous clean room, semiconductor manufacturing, or assembly work experience
• Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts and lift 20+lbs
• Demonstrates computer skills, with ability to multi task in fast pace environment
• Ability to complete tasks requiring careful handling while learning through on the job training
• Must be able to comprehend English language and follow written and verbal work instructions
• Strong work ethics in terms of attendance, organization, and team skills 
• Must have solid workplace soft skills
• Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
• This is a factory position and requires wearing clean room attire, gowning up and down at least 4 days a shift, and working in a clean room environment
• Candidate may be required to wear PPE and be exposed to hazardous processing materials
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings
