Job Description

Our client, a leader in high precision mechanical product manufacturing is hiring Production Associates in the Dallas area across multiple shifts, 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

We are currently seeking highly motivated, organized individuals with a great attitude and experience to join our growing team.

The Production Associate will be part of a team that is involved with the finishing of cutting edge machined components. Duties include:

  • Masking, sanding, repair, and application of powder paint
  • Perform advanced manual finishing techniques such as hand sanding/forming, patching/reworking surfaces with proprietary coatings, paints, and primers
  • Perform routine thickness measurements, and understand critical requirements for complex coating stacks


  • High attention to detail in personal work as well as fellow team member’s work
  • Perform daily and periodic cleaning of the work area and minor maintenance of equipment
  • Responsible for maintaining personal protective equipment
  • Participate in annual training on such topics as safety, hazardous materials, quality systems, etc.
  • Close interaction with personnel responsible for machining and finishing process establishment and execution
  • Day to day interaction with other employees including all levels of Precision Manufacturing management
  • Meet cost & schedule commitments while maintaining the utmost standards for quality
  • Promote a spirit of cooperation and follow company policies
  • 4 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • 2 years of experience in a powder coat production environment
  • Wet paint experience is a definite plus
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints
  • Proficient at working with powder coat painting equipment and ability to wear a respirator
  • Experience in a fast paced shop environment supporting multiple priorities
  • Must have excellent hand / finger dexterity and attention to detail
  • Must have demonstrated history of being able to adhere to detailed work instructions and quality standards
  • Must  have basic computer and math skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established, proven process and to perform in-process inspection in accordance with company standards and customer specifications
  • Effective time management skills are a must
  • Must be open to working any shift (1st, 2nd or 3rd)
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 28 pounds
  • Industrial wet/powder paint experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance
  • Familiar with military and government paint specifications
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
