Production Cook

Monday – Friday

Direct Placement

Day Shift

Pay Rate: 18/hr

Volt’s client, a growing food company in Wilsonville Oregon have a need for a cook on our production team. As a member of the production team the candidate will help to ensure materials, processes, and final product meet quality specifications, and for supporting and maintaining quality systems and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee cooking of product during all stages 
  • Must adhere to all HACCP, FSMA and GMP requirements. Candidate will be trained Internally to be able to meet these steps 
  • Ability to read and prepare recipes
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team setting and be a team player
  • Maintain a positive and respectful approach with all coworkers
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain high level of performance



Qualifications:

  • Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail, consistently
  • Ability to work independently
  • Previous food manufacturing experience, a plus
  • Ability to speak Spanish, a plus
  • Must be team-oriented, reliable and meet attendance standards
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs with some regularity
  • Ability to work in an environment of 50-90 degrees depending on time of year
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
