Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking several candidates to fill immediate vacancies in the Elk Grove Area for Production Line Leads.  Successful candidates will a have minimum of two years experience working in a leadership role in a production environment; candidates with electronics experience are highly sought after.  We have two different shifts available and these position are slated to start immediately.  Please see below for further job details and how to apply:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to service functions to maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor, train, oversee and control operator in charge of product service, as well as Process Flow function within the facility.
  • Monitor overall day-to-day Process operation
  • Escalate all work place issues to appropriate personnel
  • Perform job functions in accordance with Company policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper implementation and execution of all operational aspects of the repair service s in Process Flow matter.
  • Study management methods to ensure proper workflow, simplify reporting procedures, and provide input for cost reductions.
  • Prepare reports, including conclusions and recommendations for solution of administrative problems with production area.
  • Reviews and answers correspondence.
  • Compiles, stores, and retrieves management data
  • Provide training and monitor operator qualifications
  • Work with quality team to understand deficits and seek improvement
  • Oversee hourly & daily production output target
  • Monitor all employees on line to ensure they adhere to break, lunch, and schedule end times

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions from groups or managers.
  • Able to master shop floor control system within the shortest period of time
  • Able to exemplify professional behavior in all aspects of their position and demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to attain and maintain state of the art knowledge of all technology products and industry trends
  • Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills, ability to motivate, coach and lead a team of employees.
  • Able to plan, direct and delegate work to others
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills as well as administrative management skills
