Job Description

VOLT Workforce Solutions has an exciting opportunity for Direct Hire! Our client is currently expanding and growing and needs an exceptional Production Manager for their 2nd shift Operations!

The Production Manger will interface with all support organizations to convert customer work orders into completed finished goods, owning the conversion process including safety, quality, and operation of equipment and managing personnel dedicate to their area, delivering units that meet or exceed our customer’s expectations for timing, cost, and quality.
 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Create and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure high quality production
• Work closely with the Equipment Technology and Cleaning & Sanitization Teams to ensure equipment availability, cleanliness, and reliability.
• Meet the financial performance for the area to meet line standards, run rates, and efficiency targets, while managing operating spending against budget, overtime management, and compliance.
• Enforce and maintain safe manufacturing and operational practices and ensure compliance with our safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures.
• Identify, prioritize and pursue continuous improvement projects in the Area.
• Effectively plan and manage resources to execute orders in the Area, securing direct and temporary employees as needed, and manage the training, development and performance of all employees in the area.
• Ensure timely and data driven production reporting to meet the requirements of other departments and business team planning personnel.
• Actively participate in investigations, recommend and implement corrective actions.
• Lead by example, and create a collaborative team environment within the Area, by prioritizing workloads, focusing the team members on critical requirement, reward, recognize, and mentor each member to deliver the results expected.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in team, business or manufacturing leadership is required.
• Any experience in skin care, hair care, and/or bath & body manufacturing or quality assurance is preferred.
• Any experience with cGMP, OTC operations, and Quality by Design (QbD) is desired

PERSONAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Excellent team building, leadership, coaching skills.  
• Data driven and analytical to review and proactively troubleshoot area performance
• Positive attitude and collaborative working style with other teams
• Bi-lingual skills a plus

Annual Compensation:  
$75,000-$85,000K
