Job Description

If you are a NPI/Production Planner and want to focus on the possibility of discovery in technologies and advancements in design this is the job for you.  Our client brings core technologies and radio frequency (RF) solutions to mobile, infrastructure, defense/aerospace and Internet of Things markets.

Production/NPI Planner – Contract to Hire

Location – Hillsboro, OR

Pay - DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyzes, initiates, plans and implements all materials or service related actions to achieve On-Time Delivery objectives for assigned projects
  • Determines manufacturing and materials requirements and creates PO's/PPO's for internal/external services
  • Follows up and expedites materials as needed to meet customer requirements
  • Analyzes and maintains proper raw material, semi-finished and finished goods materials in order to meet project objectives
  • Proactively identifies and resolves issues that would delay material movement, production schedules or result in significant detrimental financial impact to a project. Involves other departments and management, when necessary, to resolve issues
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and quality-conscious
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and efficiently on various assignments
  • Ability to handle paperwork flow and prioritize work load
  • Strong team building skills
  • Flexible with ability to work well under stress

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant material management experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Experience in technical industry is a plus
  • Working experience with MS Excel, SAP
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and organized
