VOLT Workforce Solutions is currently looking for qualified candidates for one of our successful clients in Deepwater, NJ.

Looking for a candidate familiar with a lab environment and able to follow directions and process. This position is a sterile environment and all employees must have steel toe shoes, wear safety goggles and before entering a lab room being fully gowned up/covered

Position:                   Production Packaging Technician

Location:                  Deepwater, NJ 08023

Duration:                  3 month

Pay Rate:                  $ 14 hr

Schedule:                Mon. - Fri.    |    7:00 am - 4:00 pm

We are looking for candidates that are dependable, hard-working, quick learners, good customer service skills, able to follow specific instructions and utilize customer specific computer systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Packaging of all outgoing orders for various chemicals and products
  • Housekeeping
  • Filing of any production paperwork
  • Maintain inventory sheets and counts on shelf stock
  • Maintaining supply inventory, request as needed
  • Maintain production metrics
  • Chemical Repacks
  • Put-away
  • Pick and pack orders
  • Stage orders for delivery

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1 -3 years equivalent experience in material handling/inventory replenishment or customer service
  • Forklift Certification a plus
  • Conform to all customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues, security clearances and medical checkups.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills; display a professional can-do attitude
  • Perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality
  • Ability to understand and follow site protocols, policies and procedures
  • Must be flexible, forward- thinking, motivated, and have  the ability to act independently
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to lift 50blbs minimum
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform monthly Cycle Counts for Accuracy and Quality Inspections of Packaging
