Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs all tasks in a safe manner, adhering to Company work rules.
  • Follow Company’s manufacturing processes at all times.
  • Production planning:  (1) coordinates daily/weekly schedules  (2) communicates daily with key team members to ensure all raw ingredients are available for daily/weekly production; (3) posting and updating visible production goals (manufacturing and packaging) to ; (4) subject
  • Production execution:  (1) manages daily start-up, ensuring that production line is operationally live by agreed-upon time; (2) meets stated daily/weekly production goals (subject to downtime of equipment) for both manufacturing and packaging.
  • Assist in recruiting and training new employees, following Company policies on safety and machinery/equipment training
  • Time card review and approval for all production associates
  • Close coordination with Quality team, ensuring that production meets the quality standards and making manufacturing changes when necessary to achieve proper quality levels
  • Responsible for overseeing documentation for all information for lot code verification
  • Safely operate company equipment, adhering to Company’s operating procedures
  • Ensure all bulk sacks are stored appropriately, adhering to Company’s policies
  • Follow and trains in all established safe chemical usage policies
  • Able and willing to work safely in environment with temperatures often exceeding 90 degrees
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs routinely (60 lbs for meat grinding)
  • Other tasks as required


  • 1-3 years food manufacturing experience required, with strong experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience required
  • Ability to implement SOP documents such as safety rules, good manufacturing processes (GMPs) and general instructions
  • Excellent communication skills, ideally bilingual (Spanish)
  • Successful track record within an entrepreneurial, rapidly-moving environment
  • Solid computer skills (Excel, ERP)
