Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking Production Supervisors to work onsite at John Deere’s facility in Coffeyville,KS. This is a contingent position expected to last 1 year.   

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Supervise production employees.
  • Direct work to ensure schedule execution and safe operation.
  • Meet quality specifications.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Experience in a union shop floor environment is ideal.
  • Knowledge of 5S, 8D and lean manufacturing
  • Machining or assembly line supervisory experience required.
  • The ideal candidate will have gear/shaft, gearbox assembly experience.
  • Knowledge of shop floor manufacturing and/or warehouse and distribution production pay systems.
  • Four year degree in Business/Management or equivalent relevant manufacturing or technology degree highly preferred.
  • 1st shift position but candidates need to be open to off-shift work as business needs change.
  • Must be willing to work overtime (possible 6 day weeks).
  • Work may require weekend and daily overtime hours.
