Full Time Production Technician/Shipping Clerk

Primary Ares of Responsibility

            Performing manufacturing processes, work order fulfillment and shipping.

Job Description:

Perform hands-on manufacturing processes for the production of adhesives and coating technology, order fulfillment, shipping, and following Quality Control processes.  

This can include, but is not limited to, handling and packaging of adhesives and coating materials, fulfilling work orders to spec from filling and packaging, to shipping,

Job Duties:

-Manufacturing and making existing  products to production specs.

-Responsible for work order fulfillment, from production to delivery. This includes physical handling of the adhesive products, filling and packaging the products to the work order specs, and packaging and shipping processes.

-Keeping lab and production areas clean and organized.

-Tracking inventory, including regular inventory counts.

-Creating and maintaining relevant documents for department manuals.

-Following Safety and Quality Control processes.

-Direct handling of hazardous material, including corrosives, fuming acids, and flammables).

Qualifications:

-Hands-on manufacturing experience 2-5 years preferred.

-Basic computer & typing skills and knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and MS Outlook. 

-Knowledge of shipping software (FedEx and UPS), Act and QuoteWerks is a plus, but not required.

-Able to lift and maneuver heavy loads or equipment (50 lbs or more).

-Knowledge of or ability to follow safety procedures in chemical manufacturing environment.
