Production Technician - 3rd shift in Franklin Township, NJ at Volt

Job Description

VOLT Workforce Solutions an immediate openings for 3rd  shift Production Technicians located in Somerset, NJ.The Production Technician will produce the material manually and with mechanical production equipment. Candidates will be experienced in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food/ flavor/ fragrance or cosmetic manufacturing environments to be considered.

Position Purpose
To accurately execute production orders to meet specifications and facilitate the next phase of manufacturing.

Essential Functions

• Weigh powders as specified per bill of materials on production orders.
• Blend, mix, mill, screen, heat, treat powders as necessary per processing specifications to meet desired properties.
• Accurately complete production orders and supplementary documentation to allow for accurate time confirmations.
• Accurately label and store materials as required.
• Equipment & Machinery Used: Blenders, screeners, mills, mixers, digital balances, furnaces, dryers, drum handling equipment- candidates with this experience operating these machines are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ relevant work experience and experience working in a production environment preferred- esp. pharma, flavor/fragrance, nutraceutical or cosmetic industries 
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong general mechanical aptitude 
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds comfortably.
• Position could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.

3rd shift Schedule:
Monday- Friday
10:00 PM -6:30 AM 

Pay Rate:
$19.00/hr
