Job Description

VOLT has openings for Winery Workers to work on a specialty bottling line!!


This can be a physically demanding position at times. You must be able to be on your feet for eight hours or more per day performing what sometimes can be repetitive and strenuous tasks. Must be able to bend, stoop and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. Although work is performed indoors, conditions frequently become cooler than normal. Work can become loud during bottling. Proper protective equipment is required such as ear protection and safety glasses. Hurry and apply, the season starts soon!!

Type: Full-time Seasonal (approx. 6 months)
Location: Lodi, CA
Pay: $13.00

General Labor Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a winery environment.
  • Must be okay with working on your feet for your entire shift On a repetitive basis, work standing up and walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs throughout your shift
  • Must have great attention to detail and take pride in the quality of your work
  • Must be able to work timely yet efficiently and neatly
  • Must be able to work 1st shift and overtime and weekends as needed
  • Must have good attendance

  • General Labor Duties:
    Assist in the bottling and labeling of product
  • Load bottles onto bottling line from boxes
  • Unload bottles into empty boxes and stack on pallet
  • Label bottles by hand neatly
  • Wrap delicate wine bottles with very delicate tissue paper
  • Prepare product cases for shipping by labeling, taping, stacking, and wrapping
  • Maintain cleanliness of production area by sweeping and taking trash/recycling to dumpsters
  • Assist in production duties as needed
  • Communicate with production staff issues with production equipment and machinery
  • Must have demonstrated good performance, attitude and behavior
